The House of Jean Dumangin offers a wide range of cuvees and bottles. Here are the main different champagnes :
● Brut Millesime : it is a blend of the best cuvées of pinot noir and chardonnay from a specific vintage year. As they are sold 5 or 6 years after the harvest, the Millésimes are complex, subtle and of a great aromatic persistence, tasting of brioche and ripe white grapes.
● Brut Carte d’Or : it is composed of a third of each grape-variety ; moreover, 3 different years of harvest are blended together for a consistent quality. As it supple, round and fruity, the Brut Carte d’Or is appreciated on all occasions.
● Brut Rosé : the Carte d’Or blend is mixed with 10 to 12 % of reserve red wine which comes from old pinot noir vineyards. The taste is stronger and the Brut Rosé reveals aromas of generous red fruits.
● Brut Reserve Blanc de Blancs : it is a blend of 2 different harvests (in equal proportion) and composed only of chardonnay grapes. Its fine, fresh and elegant taste make it an ideal champagne for aperitif, fish and sea food. |
