In Chigny-les-Roses, Meunier has been part of the vineyard landscape for generations. A historic grape variety of Champagne, it holds a special place on the slopes of our village. With its fruit-driven character and natural balance, it reveals a direct and distinctive expression of our terroir, combining roundness, freshness and aromatic finesse.
Having already dedicated Special Cuvées to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, we wanted to continue this approach by placing the spotlight on Meunier, a grape variety deeply rooted in our vineyards and in the history of our House.
This Special Vintage Premier Cru Cuvée also gave us the opportunity to explore a more refined expression, with an Extra-Brut dosage of just 2 g/L, the lowest dosage ever used by our House.
Our range of Champagnes is thus enriched by a new interpretation, continuing our exploration of Champagne’s three principal grape varieties.
